Solar company in Thoothukudi, for homes, businesses & industry.
Goggles Energy is an engineering-led solar EPC serving Thoothukudi (Tuticorin) since 2013 — 150+ MW engineered across 500+ projects, from our Nagercoil HQ.
Thoothukudi combines strong sun with a harsh coast: a major port, salt pans, chemical and fertiliser plants and seafood processing. The sun is excellent for solar, but salt air and strong winds destroy cheap structures. Goggles Energy engineers for the coast from our Nagercoil HQ.

Thoothukudi solar FAQ
Which is the best solar company in Thoothukudi?
The best solar company for you in Thoothukudi is one that engineers the plant for your roof and bills, not just sells panels. Check four things: completed local projects you can visit, in-house TNPDCL (TANGEDCO) net-metering approvals, ALMM-listed Tier-1 modules with written yield estimates, and its own O&M team. Goggles Energy has built residential, rooftop and industrial solar in Thoothukudi and across Tamil Nadu since 2013 (150+ MW, 500+ projects), with offices in Nagercoil (HQ) and Chennai. Compare at least three quotes on per-kW price, structure design and warranties.
Which is the best solar company in Thoothukudi for home?
For a home in Thoothukudi, choose an installer that is a registered PM Surya Ghar vendor, files the TNPDCL net-metering application for you and quotes DCR modules. Central subsidy is ₹30,000 / ₹60,000 / ₹78,000 for 1 / 2 / 3+ kW, and Tamil Nadu adds up to ₹22,000 for eligible registrations. Get a written generation estimate before you pay.
Does salt air damage solar panels in Thoothukudi?
It damages cheap structures and fasteners first. Near the coast, use hot-dip galvanised or aluminium mounting, stainless bolts, salt-mist-rated modules and sealed connectors, and wash panels regularly. Built this way, a coastal plant lasts its full 25-year life.
Do you handle net metering and approvals in Thoothukudi?
Yes. TNPDCL (TANGEDCO) net/gross metering, feasibility clearances, CEIG approvals and open-access contracting are all part of our scope.
Do you serve Thoothukudi from a local office?
Yes. Thoothukudi is served from our Nagercoil HQ, with our own crews for installation and O&M visits.
